Kathy Yates is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner with experience teaching students of all ages with a range of challenges including chronic pain, neurological issues, anxiety, breathing and voice. She has worked in the field of movement and voice for over 25 years as a teacher, dancer, and actress. Kathy has taught classes and workshops at health clubs, JCC Manhattan, and Montclair State University. She is currently on the staff of The Feldenkrais Institute and The Feldenkrais Learning Center, NY.

Her continuing education includes: Kinesthetic Anatomy with Irene Dowd, Reiki II practitioner, Anat Baniel Method for Childrensm, close supervision working with children at The Field Center Children's Clinic with Sheryl Field. Most recent certifcation: Tellington TTouch® for Companion Animals (more info on this site soon!)

One of Kathy's greatest pleasures is to guide students in discovering new strategies for dealing with challenges–and seeing them enjoy the process!
